You started fencing and now you are ready to get your own equipment. What to get?

 

The best way to get new fencing equipment for someone who just began fencing, is to get a Starter Kit. We recommend the following starter sets, that include what is necessary to fence electrically at the club, and with a few additional items at any competition. When you purchase a starter set, it is important not to purchase something so inexpensive that you will not be able to use it in a short period of time. We recommend that you purchase your starter set from Fencing Star. Fencing Star's pro-shop is also located at our club and the shop offers competition qualityfencing equipment at prices that beginner fencers can afford.  

 

For Foil Fencers:

Foil Set

This Electrical Foil Starter Set includes everything you will need for fencing electrical foil at the club, and with addition of a few things at any national competition. All items are good competition quality:

 

  1. Fencing Jacket 350NW CE
  2. Fencing Three Weapon Mask 350NW Washable with Removable Lining
  3. Electrical Foil Sword
  4. Electrical Foil Two-prong Body Cord
  5. Three Weapon Washable Glove
  6. Foil Electrical Jacket (Lame)

 

If you would like to fence at a competition you will need to add Fencing Pants, Fencing Underplastron and another Electrical Foil Sword and Body Cord (two swords are required at all USFA competitions)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  

  

  

  

  

  

For Epee Fencers:

  1. Electrical Saber Mask with Removable Washable Lining
  2. Electrical Saber Sword S200 Blade Y-type
  3. Electrical Saber Two-prong Body Cord
  4. Electrical Saber Soft Sheep skin Leather Glove with Electrical cuff.
  5. Electrical Saber Jacket (Lame)
  6. Saber Head clip for Mask and Lame

 

To fence at the club, you will just need to add a fencing jacket.
