What classes do you offer for kids?

We offer weekday evening classes on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays starting at 5 PM and Saturday morning class at 10 AM. The classes last 50 min, followed by approximately an hour of open fencing. Private lessons are usually scheduled during open fencing.

How do I start my kid in fencing?

If your kid is a beginner or has tried fencing before, we recommend you bringing your child to one of our Wednesday or Friday class for a FREE trial. This will give us an opportunity to meet your child and recommend the best program. Our most popular program to start with includes 1 Class + 1 Private Lesson + 1 Hour of open fencing per week. We will recommend the best program given student’s enthusiasm, goals, and availability.

What do we need to bring? Is Uniform required?

Your child should wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Long sweat or track pants, t-shirt, and tennis shoes are perfect. Bring a bottle of water and a jacket to wear after the class. We will provide uniform for the first month.

Does my child need to compete?

We have competitive and recreational programs. Fencing offers one of the great opportunities for kids who want to get into college of their dreams. Most top U.S. colleges offer fencing as NCAA sport. However, we want the kids to have fun! Kids’ happiness is the most important to us. So, we let the kids decide when they are ready to compete, offering them the most supporting and conductive environment.

Crafted over the years and specifically designed with children in mind, our Little Musketeer program is geared towards helping our young fencers develop the right character traits, mental toughness and the physical skills to help them in competitive fencing and beyond.

By maintaining an close coach-student ratio, providing child-friendly lesson plans and putting strong emphasis on fencing etiquette, our team of highly-qualified coaches ensures the most conducive learning environment for our Musketeers.

Known also under a name of “physical chess” fencing is considered one of the best activity for mind and body both. For centuries, fencing was considered to be elite, highly educational sport, and believed to develop the character and intellect of children and adults in a unique way.

Fencing develops focus, self-confidence, and character in children, while instilling honor, respect, and discipline. Children will benefit physically and intellectually, and parents will recognize an overall improvement in attitude, school work, and confidence.

Games and activities are tightly integrated into our fencing lessons to help children develop better motor skills, maintain focus and improve overall physical fitness.

We will provide equipment for fencers under this program.
